Resolv Labs is focused on developing a delta-neutral stablecoin called USR, designed to maintain price stability in the often volatile cryptocurrency market. Backed by Ethereum (ETH), USR utilizes a combination of on-chain assets and hedging strategies involving derivatives to mitigate risks associated with price fluctuations. This structure allows users to engage with digital assets without the typical concerns of volatility, making $USR a viable option for transactions and as a store of value.

The Resolv Liquidity Pool (RLP) is a key component of the Resolv ecosystem, serving as an insurance layer for $USR. RLP absorbs market risks and ensures $USR maintains its peg even in adverse conditions. It\'s backed by excess collateral from the ETH portfolio that maintains over 100% backing for $USR. RLP holders receive delta-neutral yield with self-balancing leverage, where a thinner RLP layer leads to higher leverage and potentially higher returns. The value of RLP tokens fluctuates based on the protocol\'s profit and loss, providing a higher-risk, higher-reward option for investors.

Who we are looking for

We\'re seeking a strong Backend Engineer to help build Resolv\'s core infrastructure and products. You\'ll be instrumental in developing the systems that power our delta-neutral stablecoin and liquidity pool. This role requires a blend of financial, blockchain and technical expertise, as you\'ll be working on complex financial models, integrations and translating them into efficient, readable and scalable code.

What You\'ll be making and responsible for

• Delta-neutral financial infrastructure
• Automated hedging and risk management systems
• Real-time price feeds integration
• Liquidity pool management systems
• Integration with traditional financial systems and blockchain networks
• Optimized trading logic and order execution systems
• Accounting, reconciliation and financial safeguarding logic
• Engineering infrastructure to allow to scale all above quickly and to allow other engineers to deliver fast with a good level of quality

Must Have

• 5+ years of backend experience, with significant time in financial systems
• Strong modern Java expertise or proficiency with JVM technologies
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, but others good to have). We value built commonsense and related experience in the first place
• Understanding of both traditional finance and blockchain technology concepts
• Familiarity with financial modelling and risk management
• Understanding of code quality principles & testing techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and high level of ownership
• Startup experience / Ability to work well as a part of the team in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with traditional banking or payment systems and integrations
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial services
• Background in quantitative finance or algorithmic trading
• Experience with exchange or trading systems
• Familiarity with cryptographic principles and secure system design
