Job Overview

The NOC Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Network Operations Center (NOC) activities related to the metro rail project. This role involves monitoring and managing the D&B contractors network operations during the design review and construction stages to ensure system availability and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor network operations to ensure system availability and performance.
• Oversee and coordinate network activities of D&B contractors.
• Review and approve network‑related designs and plans submitted by contractors.
• Conduct regular assessments of network performance and provide feedback.
• Ensure compliance with network security and operational standards.
• Coordinate with IT teams to resolve network issues and outages.
• Maintain documentation of network configuration changes and incidents.
• Provide technical support and training to project teams and contractors.
• Develop and implement network operation procedures and best practices.
• Prepare and present network performance and incident reports to stakeholders.
• Manage network incident response and resolution processes.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
• Oversee network upgrades and maintenance activities conducted by contractors.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience in network operations and management.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent are preferred.

Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum of 57 years of experience in network operations.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Nagios).

Preferred Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced 24/7 environment.
• Experience in managing network operations for large infrastructure projects.
