We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Hygiene & Quality Officer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our organization's food safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor food safety and quality management systems
- Conduct regular hygiene and quality audits across all operational areas
- Analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports on hygiene and quality performance
- Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations and standards
- Train staff on proper hygiene practices and quality control procedures
- Investigate and resolve food safety and quality-related issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in food safety and quality management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a related field
- HACCP Certification and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) Certification
- Proficiency in food safety management systems, particularly HACCP
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and hygiene standards
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated auditing skills and attention to detail
- In-depth understanding of food industry regulations and standards
- Expertise in hygiene and sanitation practices
- Experience with quality management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
