Overview

On behalf of a prestigious international school in the UAE, we are recruiting a seasoned HR Manager to lead and oversee all human resource operations across academic and non-academic departments. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the school’s growth, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with local labour regulations and school policies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and performance management
  • Oversee teacher and staff recruitment cycles in coordination with school leadership
  • Maintain up-to-date staff records in line with KHDA / MOE or relevant regulatory standards
  • Advise management on HR policies, UAE labour law, and best practices
  • Implement and monitor staff performance review systems and professional development plans
  • Handle conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures fairly and in compliance with policy
  • Coordinate visa processing, medicals, and onboarding for international hires
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through engagement and wellness initiatives
  • Liaise with finance on payroll, benefits administration, and HR budgeting
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certifications such as CIPD preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role, preferably within an education or school setting
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance standards
  • Proven ability to manage confidential data with integrity and discretion
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing diverse, multicultural teams
  • Familiarity with HR software and school management systems is a plus
