Job summary

A leading engineering firm is looking for a Civil Quantity Surveyor for a project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in oil and gas projects. Responsibilities include preparing quantity take-offs, maintaining records, and managing subcontractor payments. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of AutoCAD are essential. The role is site-based and offers a 24-month contract starting ASAP.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in quantity surveying, preferably in oil & gas projects.
  • Strong command of English language.
  • GCC work experience, especially in UAE.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quantity take-offs for construction works.
  • Maintain overall master quantity records with updates.
  • Prepare RFQ documents and evaluate commercial bids.
  • Prepare cost reports and manage subcontractor payments.

We are looking for Civil Quantity Surveyor for one of our clients with the following details :

Start Date : ASAP

Duration : 24 months

Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE (Site based role).

Requirements
  • Minimum Qualification : Bachelor
  • Minimum 5+ years of experiences
  • Minimum 5 years of Experience in Oil & gas project
  • Language English
  • GCC Work Experience : UAE experience preferred
  • AUTO cad Software knowledge required.
Services Description
  • To Prepare quantity take offs for construction works.
  • To Maintain the overall master quantity record, incorporating updates from revised drawings.
  • To prepare the RFQ document.
  • To Evaluate the Commercial Bid.
  • To Prepare the Preambles, Schedules of Rates, Bills of Quantities and Estimations.
  • To Prepare project cost reports and review them in coordination with the Commercial and Subcontracts Manager.
  • To Review and certify subcontractor payment applications in line with the terms and conditions of the subcontract.
  • Collaborate with the project team to resolve subcontractor disputes, claims, and performance related issue.
