A boutique travel company specialising in tailor-made journeys across Southern and Eastern Africa for French-speaking travellers seeking authentic, inspiring, and immersive experiences is looking for an experienced French-Speaking Travel Consultant.

As a Travel Consultant, you will be at the heart of the client journey—combining sales expertise with creativity and destination knowledge to design exceptional trips.

Responsibilities
  • Advise, inspire, and guide clients in creating bespoke itineraries across Southern & Eastern Africa
  • Design detailed, personalised travel proposals and accurate quotations
  • Manage the full booking lifecycle, including reservations, confirmations, and coordination with local suppliers
  • Deliver outstanding customer service from first enquiry through to post-travel follow-up
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and destination expertise
Requirements
  • Fluent French speaker (first language level)
  • Proven experience as a Travel Consultant, with strong sales capability
  • Solid knowledge of Southern and/or Eastern Africa and a genuine passion for the region
  • Clear understanding of the expectations and travel styles of the European French-speaking market (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, etc.)
  • Highly customer-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working independently and within a small, agile team
  • Confident using Google Workspace and CRM systems
  • Work on inspiring, tailor-made trips for French-speaking travellers from Europe
  • Be part of a close-knit, supportive team where your contribution truly matters
