Overview

The role is responsible for the efficient supervision of inventory, consumables, and finished goods ensuring timely receiving, storage, and dispatch of products.

This role leads warehouse personnel, enforces compliance with safety and operational standards, and supports optimal customer service through effective planning and execution.

Qualifications
  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • National Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics Management.
  • 5 years supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • 4–5 years' experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.
  • Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience.
  • Proven working knowledge and hands‑on experience with SAP (Warehouse Module)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Warehouse Operations

Ensure accurate receiving, storage, and delivery of stock in accordance with company procedures.

Ensure smooth and efficient operation of both the Finished Goods, Local and Imported product.

Conduct daily stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

Monitor and maintain correct inventory levels to meet operational demands.

Ensure optimal utilization of equipment and monitor inter‑company stock replenishments.

Dispatch & Logistics Coordination

Execute the daily loading plan in full, based on the task sheet provided.

Oversee dispatch operations, ensuring forklifts are used safely and effectively.

Ensure timely and accurate loading / off‑loading to maintain high levels of customer service.

Coordinate daily transport and truck supply requirements for seamless logistics.

People Management

Supervise warehouse personnel to maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment.

Promote people development, monitor payroll accuracy, and ensure team engagement.

Continuous Improvement & Reporting

Proactively report issues and truck movement updates to the Warehouse Manager.

Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.

Complete SAP transactions and all warehouse administrative tasks timeously.

Safety & Compliance

Implement and maintain 5S principles and good housekeeping across all warehouse areas.

Enforce forklift safety standards and oversee routine maintenance.
