Job Description

Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in their task in ensuring that the warehouse inventory is in good shape, good quality (no damaged stock) and that the physical stock levels are as per SAP stock requirements. Ensure that all Inventories entering the warehouse are correctly labelled on a daily basis whilst adhering to all EH&S standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive all supplier inbound materials according to the receipt SOP
• Ensure that the EH&S Standards are maintained in the Warehouse
• Assist in the on-time receipt of Finished Goods (FG) and Input Materials (Raw & Semi) returned from all production orders
• Check all Finished Goods (FG) and Input Materials (Raw & Semi) received from the factory against the correct Production Order specifically checking the correct weight, number of rolls, number of cartons, odd quantities, description and gauge.
• Ensure that all Factory rejected material received by the Warehouse is accompanied by a duly completed NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and immediately report to Warehouse Supervisor to place into blocked stock (SAP Migo_Tr)
• Check that the correct issue (261 with the posting number ie 4903952778) was done on a production order for the correct size, gauge, weight, and colour raw material, using the SAP production order
• Ensure the on-time delivery and return of raw material to and from the factory
• Daily Check that the raw material is properly labelled and stored
• Loading (dispatch) all customer outbound materials according to the dispatch document and dispatch SOP
• Perform the consumable count as and when required
• Perform all cycle and annual stock counts on all Inventory as and when required
• Making correct photo copies of production orders issued to the factory and place on the material issued
• Do monthly Safety Inspection in the warehouse and submit to EHS Administrator with copy to your manager
• File all of the above control documents on hard copy
• Responsible for the safety, care, cleaning and reasonable maintenance of all equipment used by yourself (Including the Computers and Fork trucks)
• Maintain good housekeeping of the Warehouse, including the daily removal of all the waste bins in the warehouse
