A global mining and construction partner is seeking a Vice President of Controlling and Finance in South Africa. This leader will oversee financial reporting, manage working capital, and ensure compliance with regulations. Our Tools Division is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Controlling and Finance to play a critical role in steering the business forward. In this global leadership position, you will be a strategic partner to management—delivering insightful, focused, and accurate reporting that strengthens commercial competence and financial control across the organization.
As Vice President of Controlling and Finance, you will ensure that there is quality‑assured and timely financial and non‑financial data that are used to understand where the division is in relation to targets set, that deviations are analysed and corrective actions proactively put in place.
In this role, you will be an integral member of the divisional management team, participate in business development activities, execute on efficiency, and actively contribute to the development of our business in line with our strategy for growth. You will hold the responsibility of fostering an organization where innovative and efficient people thrive and flourish.
You will be a member of several legal and operational boards in the Tools Division’s administrative entities, as well as part of the Epiroc Financial Council and Supply Chain Board. In this capacity, you will collaborate and contribute actively to the development of finance and business control practices in the Group.
A unique opportunity comes with the responsibility the Tools Division has in hosting Epiroc’s global Supply Chain organization for the aftermarket. In this role, you will manage directly the Regional Supply Chain Controllers and keep a very close control over the performance of all Distribution Centers (Global and Regional) in Epiroc Group. This role is a key position with a direct reporting line to the President Tools Division, and strong connection to the VP Business Area Controlling – Tools & Attachments and the Group CFO.
Location flexible but preferably within EMEA time zone and in an Epiroc office location. Ideally:
Up to 30% international travel expected.
