TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Trainee Marketer (Whole Goods) within the Trade division at Kokstad, KwaZulu-Natal.

Job Summary

This trainee role is designed to groom a student into a future Whole Goods Marketer. It involves supporting the sales and marketing of agricultural products such as tractors and implements. The Trainee Marketer will assist in identifying new clients, analysing market trends, supporting marketing strategies, processing orders, and building strong customer relationships through regular visits and service. The role also includes general admin duties and supporting the Senior Marketer in sales activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Sales and marketing of agricultural products including tractors and implements
• Advise customers and market/sell products
• Research, study and assess current marketing trends
• Analyse competitors’ products and market trends
• Create appropriate marketing strategies for products
• Find prospective customers/clients and new target segment
• Process customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring the clients approval
• Up-sell and cross-sell new products or services to existing customers
• Contact prospective customers and provide them with information on the company and the products / services provided
• General administration
• Customer care and satisfaction - daily visits to key customers and potential new customers
• Grow the TWK client base
• Assist Senior Marketer with sales

Qualifications and Skills
