Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Manager to join our Inspired Online Schools In-house Agency Team, based in Johannesburg. The Traffic Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day flow of work within the in-house creative and digital team. This role ensures that all creative and digital projects are properly scheduled, resourced, and delivered on time, within budget, and in line with the brand's high standards. You will be the key link between the creative team and internal stakeholders across Inspired online schools and corporate offices.

Key Responsibilities
Workflow Management
  • Own and manage the creative and digital team’s project management systems (e.g. Monday.com, Trello, Asana)
  • Schedule and assign tasks to designers, copywriters, videographers, web editors and other cross functional team members
  • Maintain visibility on all active and upcoming projects, ensuring timelines and milestones are met
  • Track project progress, flag risks or delays, and proactively resolve bottlenecks
Traffic Coordination
  • Receive briefs from internal stakeholders and clarify objectives, deliverables, and timelines
  • Coordinate with Head of In-house agency and Team Leads to allocate resources appropriately
  • Prioritise incoming work based on strategic importance, deadlines, and team capacity
  • Maintain and communicate a centralised production calendar
Team Support
  • Serve as a central point of contact for task queries and project status updates
  • Balance workloads across team members, reassigning work as needed to meet deadlinesSupport a positive, collaborative studio environment with clear communication and accountability
Process & Quality Assurance
  • Help implement and refine studio processes to improve efficiency and creative output
  • Ensure proper documentation, file naming conventions, and archiving systems are followed
  • Assist in onboarding freelancers and coordinating external resources when required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • 3+ years’ experience in a traffic/project management or studio coordination role (agency or in-house)
  • Strong understanding of creative and digital workflows across design, video, digital, web and print
  • Experience using project management software (e.g. Monday.com, Asana, Wrike, etc.)
  • Exceptional organisational, planning, and time management skills
  • Experience working in education, youth brands, or premium/lifestyle sectors is an advantage
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Process-driven, with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment
