A stable manufacturing company in Gauteng is seeking an experienced accounts receivable professional on a temporary basis. In this role, you will manage incoming payments, ensure accurate financial transactions, and reconcile accounts to resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of SAP experience and strong accounting knowledge. The remuneration package is between R15,000 and R18,000 CTC.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables data.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.

Qualifications

• Matric
• 5+ years of SAP experience
• Previous experience in a similar role
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
