A well‑established engineering and energy solutions company is seeking a technically strong Sales Specialist to expand its market presence across South Africa. Based in Gauteng, this role offers exposure to cutting‑edge power generation and renewable energy projects, working closely with clients to deliver reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions.

You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from business development and technical consultations to proposal submission and contract close‑out, while building lasting client relationships within the energy sector.

Education
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy, Sales, or Business Management (advantageous)
Job Experience & Skills Required
  • Minimum 3–5 years sales experience within the power, electrical, energy, or renewable energy industry
  • Proven track record in selling transformers, generators, solar, hybrid, or energy solutions
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical systems and power generation equipment
  • Experience engaging with EPCs, consultants, contractors, and end‑users
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tenders
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and client liaison skills
  • Self‑driven, target‑oriented, and results‑focused
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
