Purpose Statement

To lead a designated functional team in Cyber Security, support the manager by overseeing security solutions for the organisation and ensuring delivery is aligned with the objectives, plans, processes, standards and compliance. Analyse, design, implement and support Cyber Security infrastructure and security solutions.

Experience

Minimum/Ideal:

  • 4+ years’ experience in IT Security dealing with security solutions in a heterogenous environment
  • People leadership and/or management.
  • Planning, organising, coordination and prioritising.
  • Exposure to and experience in:
  • Security Architecture or Design and Operations (physical / cloud infrastructure, operating systems and supporting software)
  • Security incident response and support in a cyber security environment.
  • Penetration testing and cyber assurance and support in a cyber security environment.
Qualifications (Minimum)
  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Qualifications (Ideal Or Preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology
