Job summary

A public sector organization in South Africa is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management professional to lead operational planning and client communication. The candidate must have 8-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, including 4 years at a middle management level in a corporate or public sector environment. Qualifications

• 8 - 10 years’ experience within Supply Chain Management and/or Procurement.
• 4 years at Middle Management level in a Corporate/Public Sector organization.
• Registration with Supply Chain Management professional bodies as an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop Supply Chain Management operational plan aligned with strategy.
• Lead communication with clients for operationalisation of activities.
• Facilitate promotion of BEE and suppliers’ performance standards.
• Monitor end-to-end sourcing process and contract performance.
• Manage resources within the Unit for efficient operations.
