Our client is a growing entity in the Retail Industry and seeks to appoint a Store Spervisor for one of thier Branches in Cape Town west coast.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Supervisor to join our team. The Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing a team of sales associates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the retail store, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling
  • Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times by coaching and training the sales team
  • Monitor and analyze sales reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
  • Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment for the sales team
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the HR team to recruit, hire, and train new sales associates
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to the sales team
  • Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and a safe working environment
  • Handle any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure stock is replenished as needed
  • Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the overall store presentation
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a supervisory role
