A leading FMCG service provider in South Africa is seeking a candidate to manage project-based execution, including implementing seasonal displays, conducting store visits, and ensuring stock availability. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in the FMCG environment, a Grade 12 qualification, and strong communication skills. The role requires attention to detail and involves reporting on project execution and competitor activity. This position is essential for driving sales within categories based on project-specific goals.
Implement project briefs as provided (e.g., seasonal displays, innovation rollouts). Execute planogram changes and category flow adjustments under supervision. Assist with cross-merchandising pilots and data collection for new projects.
Visit allocated stores as per project-specific call cycles. Report back on implementation, issues, and opportunities. Effective management of call cycle as per project-specific call cycles.
Basic checks for stock availability and rotation on project lines. Ensure display execution and correct ticketing for project items.
Increase sales within categories as per project-specific and drive themes for the season.
Drive speed to shelf on innovation, gaps analysis, listing issues as per project-specific call cycles. Drive on-shelf availability within stores as per project-specific call cycles. Ad Hoc free space execution compliance as per project-specific call cycles.
Maintain a professional, friendly presence in stores during projects. Escalate store concerns to the Field Manager as needed.
Complete all required project execution checklists and submit photo reporting through designated systems. Share qualitative feedback on any challenges encountered during implementation and report competitor activity. Track and report pricing issues and competitor promotions in alignment with project-specific call cycle requirements.
2 years’ experience within the FMCG environment (Essential / Minimum).
Grade 12/NQF level 4.
Communication skills (verbal & written).
Attention to detail.
