Role Overview

The Sports Teacher will guide boys of all skill levels in developing a love for physical activity and sports, while also nurturing confidence and a lifelong passion for sports within a supportive and encouraging environment. An opportunity exists for an exceptional Sports Teacher to join the school from 1 January 2026.

Duties
  • Teach Physical Education and Sports lessons as per the academic timetable
  • Involvement with the Junior and Senior Prep Sports Programme – coaching and officiating (weekdays and weekends)
  • Coach and umpire as required
  • Assist with all Sports Demonstrations and Sporting Events
  • Assist with teaching certain academic lessons
Qualifications and Experience
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and SACE Registration
  • Experience in coaching and officiating several different sporting codes
  • Own transport would be advantageous
Skills and Attributes
  • Passion for education and sport
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • The flexibility, ability and willingness to work outside school hours, when necessary
