A public sector authority in Pretoria is seeking a skilled ERP Developer to design and maintain automated systems. The successful candidate will work with ERP applications, providing technical support and ensuring integration across various modules. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Science and ITIL V3 certification, along with comprehensive experience with SAGE products and strong database skills. This role emphasizes teamwork and innovation in solutions for business challenges.
Purpose of the Job: To apply system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of automated systems. To configure, analyse, design, develop, and maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program code and applications to support business processes and functions. The person appointed to this position will report to the Senior Manager: Applications Maintenance and Support.
The candidate must demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Adherence to principles and values, apply expertise and information gathering and problem analysis, good judgement, following instructions and procedures, teamwork, positive attitude and willingness to learn; ability to evaluate, provide recommendations and implement third party solutions; ability to prioritise and perform multiple tasks in time-critical situations.

A Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent qualification. The candidate must have an ITIL V3 Foundation Certification with at least 4 to 6 years’ working experience using SAGE CRM, SAGE 300 and SAGE 300 PEOPLE, with the ability to provide support and incident prevention services within the ERP environment.
