Qualifications

• Spa Receptionist experience in a Luxury Lodge Spa, Hotel Spa, or Cruise Ship Spa.
• Qualification in an internationally accredited Spa/Beauty Diploma.

• Manage guest relations and reservations within the spa environment.

SPA GUEST RELATIONS & RESERVATIONIST

MELROSE - Johannesburg, Gauteng - South Africa

STARTING DATE : A.S.A.P / December 2025

REPORTS to : Spa Manager

EMPLOYMENT : Full Time

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS :

• Monday - Sunday
• Shifts : 08 : 00 - 17 : 00 | 09 : 00 - 18 : 00 | 10 : 00 -19 : 00 | 11 : 00 - 20 : 00
• Open / Close Shifts apply (must be flexible and able to work early & late shifts rotate)
• 1x Weekend OFF per month + Days in the week

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS :

• R10,000 - R12,000 Basic per month (Based on relevant experience)
• Retail Commission on products sold by you
• Incentives and performance bonuses
• Treatment commission earned on services personally performed by you when operationally required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

• Spa Receptionist experience in a Hotel Spa / Cruise Ship Spa or Luxury Lodge Spa
• Qualification : ITEC / CIDESCO / SAAHSP or similar international accredited Diploma in Spa / Beauty
• Excellent command of English (speak & write)
• Bookings system confident
• Computer confident including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
• Highly presentable and beautifully groomed
• Reliable transport to Melrose
• Able to work hospitality hours including public holidays, weekends and night shifts

EXPERIENCE :

• Hotel or similar hospitality reception experience is advantageous
• Reception experience in Spa / Salon or Cruise Ship
• Spa Therapist employment experience within luxury hotel or Ship Spa
• Knowledge & understanding of Spa industry & the lingo (describe treatments accordingly)
• Exceptional guest / patient relations
• Computer literate & skilled in booking software including Social Media & MS Office
