Solicitor - Fraud

Location: Manchester, UK

The Role

We are looking for a talented and driven Solicitor to join our highly regarded Fraud team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of insurance fraud matters, including motor, casualty, and organized fraud claims. You'll be responsible for managing a caseload of complex, litigated fraud cases, guiding them from initial instruction all the way through to trial or settlement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload of fraud-related cases, with a focus on motor fraud claims
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, witness statements, and instructions to counsel
  • Attend court hearings and provide strategic litigation advice to clients
  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent service and proactive case management
  • Support senior colleagues on complex or high-value fraud matters
  • Stay up-to-date with legal developments and procedural changes
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (1-3 years PQE)
  • Previous experience in insurance litigation or fraud work
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A commercial, client-focused mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and third parties
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
