Job summary

A leading solar solutions company in South Africa is seeking an External Sales Rep to identify, prospect, and close new customers for solar energy solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of field sales experience, preferably in the energy or technology sector, along with a valid South African driver’s license and own vehicle. Responsibilities include conducting presentations, preparing proposals, and maintaining customer relationships. Travel within assigned regions will be required, and strong negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in field sales, preferably in energy or technology.
  • Experience in solar energy sector with either sales or technical knowledge.
  • Valid South African driver’s licence and own vehicle for travel.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and close new customer leads for solar energy solutions.
  • Conduct technical demonstrations and prepare tailored proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain post-sales relationships.
  • Track and report on KPIs related to sales performance.
