We have an amazing opportunity for a Social Media Coordinator to be based at our Hollywoodbets Greyville offices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.

  • 1 to 2 years Copywriting experience
  • Live Event Coverage & Real-Time Posting experience

What You’ll Do for The Brand:
  • Execute a results-driven social media strategy aligned with the Hollywood Athletics Club brand and objectives.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies for Club, elites, events and races.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
  • Attend Club races and events to capture and post live content (includes early mornings, weekends, and public holidays).
  • Create and manage content for elite athletes, ensuring alignment with brand tone and sponsor requirements.
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends and keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
  • Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
  • Manage paid media campaigns across all social media platforms to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Find opportunities to promote our social media channels online and offline.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team and Operational Team to align all content and campaigns with broader Club objectives.
  • Work closely with teammates in order to maintain a consistent brand voice across all paid and organic campaigns.
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions.
  • Prepare detailed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual social media performance reports.
  • Any other ad hoc duties that might be required such as working overtime and weekend work.
