A leading consulting firm in South Africa is looking for a Senior Tax Consultant to join their Corporate Tax Consulting Business Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, preparing tax computations, and ensuring compliance with corporate tax law. With a focus on technical excellence, the role also includes coaching junior staff and managing financial targets. Candidates should possess an LLB degree, CA(SA) qualification, and have significant corporate tax consulting experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience as a Corporate Tax consultant.
• Experience working with and interpreting financial accounting records.

Responsibilities

• Assisting BDO to achieve its financial targets driving the BDO brand.
• Preparing and/or reviewing income tax and deferred tax computations.
• Drafting technically correct opinions and reports.
• Managing and maintaining client relationships.
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff.
