The Senior Specialist: Learning & Development role is designed to provide advice and support in practice formulation and associated best practice improvement tactics, enabling the provision of specialist learning and development expertise. The role focuses on partnering with HRBPs and business leaders to design, implement, and drive impactful, future‑focused learning and development strategies that empower individuals and teams to perform at their best.
The successful incumbent will have a Bachelor’s Commerce Degree in HR or HR‑Related Field (Honours Degree in HR or Business‑Related Fields highly preferable) with a minimum of 5 to 7 years in a similar specialist‑level role within a complex, fast‑paced environment such as Investment Banking, Banking, Learning and Consulting.
The Senior Learning and Development Specialist will work in close partnership with business leaders and HR to design and deliver innovative, data‑informed, and learner‑centric solutions that build critical skills, enhance leadership capability, and support the organisation’s strategic objectives. By leveraging emerging technologies such as Generative AI and applying design thinking principles, the Senior Specialist will ensure that learning is not only aligned with business needs but also accelerates performance, fosters agility, and delivers measurable value across the enterprise.
