Job summary

A dynamic financial advisory firm is seeking a Property Group Accountant in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial and tax reporting while managing accounting controls. Required qualifications include a B. Com Honours or bachelor’s degree in accounting, along with a minimum of 5 years in accounting/reporting. Strong skills in leadership, organization, and assertive communication are essential. Experience with Microsoft Excel and accounting packages is also necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in accounting/reporting role.
• Staff management experience required.
• Group reporting, taxation, and consolidation experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of annual financial statements for various companies.
• Management and review of trial balances for all reporting entities.
• Reconciliation and submission of VAT and Withholding Tax returns.
