Senior Production Manager – Luxury Sector

Responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that products are delivered on time, impeccable, unmatched quality, and within budget. Wanting to grow and develop with the business.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the manufacturing function within the business.
  • Meet customer requirements, quality, and standards.
  • Full accountability for ensuring customer quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met.
  • Overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing process.
  • Supervise staff, plan and approve production schedules, approve invoices, and manage budgets.
  • Planning and organizing: Planning production schedules, determining the resources required.
  • Managing resources: Ensuring that the required resources are available, including equipment, raw materials and facilities.
  • Quality control: Setting and enforcing quality standards, and monitoring productivity rates.
  • Health and safety: Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are always followed.
  • Cost control: Estimating costs and negotiating budgets with clients and managers.
  • Team management: Leading and motivating a team of production managers, team leaders, and assembly operators.
  • Continuous improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Correct Manufacturing Systems implementation: Identifying the correct systems in place to improve accuracy in processes to increase productivity and quality.
  • Reporting: Producing production reports and collating and analysing data.
  • Liaising: Liaising with other departments and teams to ensure a smooth production process.
  • Strategic: Analyze the business, envision long-term goals, and develop plans to achieve those goals.
