Senior Motion Graphics Artist - Century City

Job Description

Join our client’s dynamic team Sports Betting, a leading online platform that offers thrilling sports betting experiences to customers worldwide. We’re seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our Motion Graphics Team.

The role of the Senior Motion Graphics Artist is to conceptualise, develop and present storyboards for the graphic design and layout of animation for TVCs, broadcast toolkits, video intros, titles and explainer videos across all platforms, amongst others.

Responsibilities

• Create TVCs and broadcast toolkits from concept to execution
• Create animations for event and marketing videos (e.g., lower thirds, titles, explainer videos)
• Edit video with recorded audio for animations
• Work closely with graphic designers to ensure designs are implemented to brief
• Adapt promotional artwork for video production
• Produce creative promotional artwork
• Create visuals for the digital marketing and social media departments (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Blog)
• Continuously assess the competitor and keep up with industry trends
• Scamping of new ideas for visual representation – Storyboards
• Liaise with the design department to get campaign artwork
• Work closely with copy writers, designers, etc., to develop content, optimize the use of each digital channel for campaign efforts and execute the campaign vision
• Take direction from department leadership, including documenting detailed requirements, and asking questions to clarify assignments
• Evaluate emerging technologies; provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
• Contribute to brainstorming new and creative growth strategies
• Ad hoc duties as required amongst others

Soft Knowledge

• Adobe Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects
• 3D software: Cinema 4D and/ or Blender, amongst others

Requirements

• Matric
• Valid Driver license
• Must have strong skills in Cinema 4D and After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Must be advanced as a Motion Graphics Artist as will be overseeing a team and giving direction
• Must be creative and have a sharp skill set to work within tight deadlines
• Must understand the software as a senior animator
• 3 years experience in a similar role
• Diploma/Degree in related field preferred
• Adobe Suite and 3D Software, amongst others
• Experience within a multimedia environment
• MUST PROVIDE A SHOWREEL - 3D Animation & online portfolio

Working hours: Must be willing to work overtime when needed

Salary: Between Market Related plus Provident Fund
