Minimum Requirements for the Role
- Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of Capital Markets experience.
- Attention to detail with an understanding of the bigger picture.
- Experience in both debt and equity transactions.
- Commercial Paper issuances within the South African market.
- Issuances by securitization vehicles.
- Listing of debt on international exchanges, including Euro Medium Term Programmes.
- Equity transaction experience:
- Listings on the JSE Limited.
- Category 1 acquisitions and/or disposals on the JSE Limited.
- Periodic reporting experience related to pro‑forma financial information as per the JSE Listings Requirements.
- Knowledge of the other three South African stock exchanges and their listings requirements.
- Comfort letter experience for debt and/or equity transactions.
- CA(SA) qualification is beneficial but not mandatory, with 4–7 years post‑articles experience in auditing.
- Previous industry exposure: 2 years within the debt and/or equity markets.

- Core purpose: To support the Assurance business with JSE‑related matters and provide support within Africa.
- Important responsibilities: Prioritization and management of work while maintaining quality across multiple engagements.
- Challenges and problems to solve: Balancing workload and quality control in a dynamic environment.
- Learning opportunities: Development of new skills related to the JSE Listings Requirements, local and international debt listings, and comfort letter experience.
Preferred Previous Employment
- Candidates should have experience working in an auditing firm.
