Job description

Minimum Requirements for the Role

• Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of Capital Markets experience.
• Attention to detail with an understanding of the bigger picture.
• Experience in both debt and equity transactions.
• Commercial Paper issuances within the South African market.
• Issuances by securitization vehicles.
• Listing of debt on international exchanges, including Euro Medium Term Programmes.
• Equity transaction experience:
  • Listings on the JSE Limited.
  • Category 1 acquisitions and/or disposals on the JSE Limited.
• Periodic reporting experience related to pro‑forma financial information as per the JSE Listings Requirements.
• Knowledge of the other three South African stock exchanges and their listings requirements.
• Comfort letter experience for debt and/or equity transactions.
• CA(SA) qualification is beneficial but not mandatory, with 4–7 years post‑articles experience in auditing.
• Previous industry exposure: 2 years within the debt and/or equity markets.
