Job summary

A fast-growing gaming company in Cape Town is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage employee relations, compliance reporting, and the recruitment process. The ideal candidate will have a degree in HR and at least 5 years of generalist HR experience, preferably within South Africa's labor regulations. Responsibilities include handling disciplinary procedures, overseeing Employment Equity reporting, maintaining employee records, and enhancing employee engagement. This is a full-time in-office role, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact in the workplace.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years HR generalist experience, with focus on Employee Relations.
  • In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation.
  • Proven experience in managing WSP/ATR submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage disciplinary processes and grievances.
  • Oversee Employment Equity reporting and submissions.
  • Coordinate recruitment process from job specs to onboarding.
  • Monitor employee attendance and maintain records.
  • Identify training needs and track training effectiveness.
  • Act as a soundboard for employees and enhance engagement.
  • Draft and update employee contracts and HR letters.
  • Implement performance management framework and guide appraisals.
