Job summary

A healthcare service provider in South Africa is looking for a Financial Accountant who will run the accounting and financial activities. Responsibilities include managing the full accounting function, presenting timely reports to executive management, and supervising staff. The ideal candidate will hold a B. Comm/B. Compt degree, completed articles with an audit firm, have relevant work experience, and be proficient in MS Office. Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the full accounting function of certain entities.
• Present reports to Executive Management and respective Heads of Departments timeously.
• Supervise staff and ensure deadlines are adhered to.
• Ensure completion of monthly management accounts and recons.
• Critically analyse financial records.
• Implement systems of controls.
