Job summary

A well-known Assurance and Consultancy Firm in Cape Town is seeking an experienced accounting and bookkeeping professional. This role includes managing bookkeeping and accounting for various clients, utilizing Xero and Pastel, and handling VAT submissions. Candidates should possess a finance/accounting degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, with those having completed articles being favored. A competitive salary of R35,000 per month, along with performance-based bonuses, is offered.

Qualifications

• Completed articles (SAICA or SAIPA) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Full bookkeeping and accounting function up to trial balance.
• Handling VAT and PAYE reviews.
• Invoicing and debtors’ collection.
• Assisting SAIPA trainees with training.
