This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who is confident working from transactional level through to financial statements in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full financial function (FFF) from GL to financial statements
• Monthly management accounts and reporting
• General ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and trial balance
• Preparation of financial statements
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Liaising with auditors and external stakeholders
• Supporting operational teams with financial insights

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Qualification: BCom
• Experience: 35 years experience as a Senior Accountant
• Industry: Construction experience essential
• Systems: Buildsmart is a must
• Technical: Strong exposure to FFF (GL, recons, TB, up to FS)
