The Seafreight Operational Care Specialist is responsible for ensuring that our internal customers’ experience is positive every time they engage with the Operational Care Center (OCC). The Operational Care Representative is part of a team within the OCC that directly interacts with Customer Care Locations (CCLs), provides proactive customer service, problem solving, follow-up, and collaboration with customer service colleagues.

- Proven experience in sea freight operations and import documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance and meticulous record keeping.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively across global teams and engage with customers through various communication channels.
- Demonstrated capability to challenge existing procedures, drive cost control initiatives, and analyze KPIs for continuous process optimization.
- Skilled in utilizing core logistics platforms and tools, with experience in maintaining business profiles and internal documentation systems like Wiki.
- Deep understanding of QSHE principles and a consistent track record of adhering to safety, environmental, and compliance protocols.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate processing and documentation of sea import shipments while strictly following company policies and QSHE standards.
- Maintain real-time visibility of customer transactions and address their specific needs through efficient multi-channel communication.
- Work closely with Kuehne + Nagel offices, system process teams, and Customer Care Locations to streamline operations and deliver customer commitments.
- Proactively challenge the status quo to improve workflows and enhance cost-efficiency, contributing to ongoing business improvements.
- Drive integration of customer data into core systems by initiating Business Profile updates and managing Wiki documentation for transparent operations.
