Position: Sanitation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair all sanitation systems on board our vessels, including sewage treatment plants, vacuum systems, and waste management systems
  • Monitor and record sanitation system performance, identifying and addressing any issues or malfunctions
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for all sanitation systems
  • Train crew members on proper use and maintenance of sanitation systems
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for sanitation systems
  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance and repairs without disrupting vessel operations
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on sanitation systems
  • Source and purchase necessary equipment and supplies for sanitation systems
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in sanitation technology
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime industry
