Role Overview

The position will play a pivotal role by ensuring the total management of contracts through the contract life cycle. The position will be required to bring in new business and maintain existing client relationships to ensure alignment to strategic goals. Key Responsibilities
Sales
  • Acquisition of new business and adhoc work in line with sales strategies, which may vary from time to time.
  • Meeting sales revenue targets and performance measures monthly
  • It is expected that daily call reports will be completed on a daily basis providing relative information as may be required.
  • Monthly revenue and activity reports
  • Develop and manage a viable pipeline in line with revenue targets
  • Pricing and profitability assessment of new and existing contracts
  • All quotations will be generated on existing systems.
  • Contract negotiations
  • Implementing annual price increases
  • Tenders submissions
  • Contract renewals
Customer Liaison
  • Resolution of customer complaints by acting as liaison between operations (and other functions) and the customers
  • Debtors’ collections as required by debtors ageing analysis.
  • Customer surveys and information to customers
  • Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications.
  • Advice and service to customers on “one stop” service provision and facilitating this process
  • Maintaining Relationships with existing customers through regular review visits.
  • Gathering market and customer information
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers and businesses requirements.
  • Feeding future trends back to management
COMMUNICATION AND FEEDBACK
  • Build and maintain strong client relationship with the client.
  • Regular communication with the client.
  • Understand and manage the needs of the client
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • 3 – 5 Years Sales Experience
  • 3-5 Years experience in waste management or related industry will be advantageous
  • Tertiary education would be advantageous
  • Excellent Proficiency ability in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Own transport and flexibility to travel
