A dynamic sales company in South Africa is seeking a Sales Development Representative to generate sales opportunities through outbound calls and emails, particularly targeting B2B clients in the US market. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in B2B sales within the technology or recruitment sectors, possessing strong communication skills and proficiency in CRM tools. The Sales Development Representative is tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through outbound calling, as well as email campaign outreach activities.
The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects and is highly self-motivated.
The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company's needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically.
Identify potential B2B clients in the US market and build a robust database of leads
Initiate outbound communication through various channels, including cold calls, and emails campaigns to generate interest in our products and services
Conduct thorough research to qualify leads and understand their needs and pain points
Create meaningful conversations with prospects and nurture them that would lead to a sales decision
Schedule meetings and demos with qualified leads to drive the sales pipeline
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align efforts and ensure a seamless transition of leads to the Sales team
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for lead generation and conversion
Build a sales qualified lead data through lead generation and research using LinkedIn, Zoom Info, or any equivalent lead generation tools
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in sales development
Experience in B2B sales in technology or recruitment industry is a must
Bachelor's / College Degree specializing in Marketing / Business Administration / Management / Customer Service / Telemarketing, or equivalent is an advantage but not a requirement
Proven experience in B2B lead generation and business development
Confidence in speaking with HR Managers and C-Levels
Hands-on experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence
Demonstrated success in prospecting, cold calling, and booking sales meetings
A strong ability to generate your own leads, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative
Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
