The Role: Sales Development Representative
This outsourced SDR role is central to outbound the growth engine. You'll work closely with the Commercial and Business Development teams to identify, connect with, and convert high-potential prospects into qualified meetings. Using a structured three-stage process, you will drive top-of-funnel activity via LinkedIn, cold outreach, and telemarketing helping the business scale in key markets across the UK and beyond.


Key Responsibilities


  • Minimum 2 years experience in an SDR or BDR role within B2B tech, SaaS, or energy

  • Build ICP-aligned prospect lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Expandi

  • Set up and manage LinkedIn connection campaigns and track engagement in Zoho CRM

  • Execute email and LinkedIn DM campaigns aligned with provided content plans

  • Monitor engagement and use data to prioritise high-potential leads

  • Conduct structured outbound calling and email follow-ups to book qualified meetings

  • Handover leads to BDMs and support smooth scheduling of discovery calls

  • Maintain accurate prospect records and report daily on outreach outcomes

  • Collaborate with the team to refine messaging and improve lead quality


About You


  • 2+ years of proven experience in an SDR, BDR, or outbound sales role

  • Background in B2B SaaS, tech, or energy or solar industries

  • Proficient with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Expandi, Zoho CRM, and cold outreach tools

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Confident, articulate, and persuasive on the phone

  • Highly organised, data-driven, and proactive in a remote setting

  • Familiarity with energy efficiency or sustainability is a strong plus

  • Self-starter mindset with a drive to hit targets and build long-term client impact
