Purpose of the Role

Job Purpose

The purpose of the job is to promote and sell a full range of products to new and existing customers within the Powder business of AkzoNobel South Africa.

Key Accountabilities

  • Promote a full range of services and products to existing and potential customers.
  • Providing forecasts for customers and products. Preparing and presenting sales plans / actions.

Experience

  • Grade 12 combined with a tertiary qualification relevant to this role.
  • At least between three to five years of sales experience in an industrial, technical, chemical, or coatings end user environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of MS Office Packages and the ability to learn and apply CRM and other related tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and strategic approach to sales with the ability to develop new business and to build relationships with clients.
