A well-established company in the food manufacturing industry, specialising in providing top-tier services to the hospitality and catering sector, including hotels and coffee shop chains, is seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to join their team as a Sales Assistant. This full-time position working Mon-Fri offers micro flexible working hours. You will eventually be working client facing, visiting clients at their premises.

This role is ideal for someone who is keen to learn the ins and outs of the sales process, from order taking and invoicing to client interaction and prospecting.
You will be groomed to take on key responsibilities within the sales team, ultimately representing the company at client meetings and helping to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Learn the Sales Cycle: Understand the sales process within the company, including how orders are taken, invoicing is managed, and the flow from initial contact to client retention.
- Telesales & Order Management: Engage in telesales, calling both new and existing clients, taking orders, and managing invoicing responsibilities. Full training will be provided on internal systems and sales processes.
- Client Engagement: Shadow and eventually meet clients on behalf of the Sales Director and Sales Manager. Represent the company professionally and build strong relationships with clients. Attend meetings with clients, adapting your approach to fit both formal and informal settings.
- Prospecting: Identify and pursue new prospective clients in key sectors, particularly within the hospitality industry (hotels, coffee shop groups, office catering, etc.).
- Sales Mentorship: Receive hands-on mentorship from the Sales Director and Sales Manager, learning the A-Z of sales and client management, including client interactions, sales strategies, and industry-specific knowledge.
