Job description

We are seeking a Sales and Support Technician to lead our technical product support and client engagement efforts. This role involves supporting customers who rent our survey and orientation tools — ensuring equipment reliability, resolving technical issues, and identifying opportunities to expand rental and service utilisation.

You will also represent the company across the African region — providing on-site technical support, tool commissioning, product demonstrations, and client training at various mining and exploration sites.

Position Details

Location: Midrand

Work Setup: Full-time

What you will need:
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Applications
  • In-field experience on mining and exploration sites, specifically associated with core drilling.
  • Sales experience
  • Demonstration of products through on-site trials & demos, trade shows.
  • Practical experience with core orientation and directional survey equipment.
  • Contribute to a positive and energetic environment that fosters creativity and growth
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to network professionally
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on outcomes, Ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with the following OEM tools or equivalent:
    Axis Mining Technology: Champ Navigator, Champ MagShot, Champ Orientation Kit, Rig Alignment equipment
    Boart Longyear: TruShot, TruGyro, TruCore One, Rig Alignment equipment
    Hexagon: Azimuth Aligner
