Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota.
Develop and grow a pipeline of opportunities for AspenTech products within the Metals and Mining industries.
Must be able to cold call and prospect to achieve pipeline goals.
Manage day to day sales process, coordinate account meetings, and coordinate sales support resources.
Provide sales and executive management with account updates, sales forecasts, etc. on a weekly basis.
Coordinate and lead multidivisional account teams.
Work as a team member on sales efforts involving global account opportunities.
Develop and maintain customer contacts at assigned accounts.
Develop and maintain good domain knowledge and competitive intelligence of machine learning, Smart manufacturing and IoT.
Minimum of 10 years software sales experience with a demonstrated track record with multi-year achievement against personal quota.
Demonstrated track record in successful direct sales of software solutions.
Strategic sales thinker – the candidate must be able to see how existing customer solutions can be repeated and leveraged within the industry sector.
Significant experience leading multimillion dollar sales campaigns.
Proficient at establishing and cultivating "C" level consultative relationships.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Personal computer literacy.
University degree required.
Self-discipline and motivation to produce results with indirect supervision.
Bachelor's degree in chemical, Industrial, Production, or Petroleum engineering.
Experience selling to customers in the Metals and Mining industry.
Familiarity with process modeling software products and services, APC / real time optimization, asset management, MES and planning and scheduling solutions preferred.
Process industry knowledge.
Travel is expected 50% of time.
