Overview

SA Home Loans who is an employer of choice has an amazing opportunity for an ambitious and highly versatile Property Finance Consultant based in the West Rand. This is a permanent role and the successful candidate will be adept at proactively generating their own leads. This role will report to the Regional Sales Manager for West Rand. The successful candidate actively engages in prospecting potential home loan clients by leveraging lead providers (Estate Agents Bond originators direct to client) and direct marketing utilizing needs analysis-based selling techniques. Facilitate the movement of existing home loans from other financial institutions to SA Home Loans or offer tailor-made home finance packages accompanied by exceptional service.

Responsibilities
  • Source Potential Leads: Prospect for clients using initiative and reactive methods. Build a strong network and execute marketing campaigns including social media, outdoor/mall/community marketing, and corporate presentations.
  • Identify Needs: Ask open-ended questions to understand a client’s financial and emotional needs. Pre-qualify clients by assessing their background in relation to credit health reports and affordability.
  • Match Product Offerings to Needs: Use product knowledge to provide tailored solutions and explain application procedures and credit criteria to clients.
  • Explain Final Approval and Successful Closing: Clarify all terms and conditions of the final offer and summarize the benefits of the product package.
  • Maintain Customer Contact and Follow-up: Keep clients updated throughout the process, provide clear explanations to inquiries, and request referrals after a client has accepted an offer.
  • Applications Capture and File Construction: Accurately complete and capture applications and compile all necessary supporting documents to ensure the file is ready for processing.
Requirements
  • Matric qualification
  • Experience in proactively prospecting in a pressurized sales environment
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Experience in sales within a self-sourcing environment and adept at proactively generating leads (Preferred)
  • Minimum 2-3 years external field sales experience (property insurance, banking, fibre, telco, etc.)
  • Must generate own leads and be confident engaging clients on the ground (malls, new housing developments, estates, lifestyle markets)
  • Clear credit record; no debt review
  • Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Live in or near the West Rand (e.g. Roodepoort, Krugersdorp, Florida, Randfontein, Kagiso, Honeydew)
  • Strong community or client network is a plus
