A leading engineering and construction firm in South Africa is seeking a Resident Engineer to manage construction projects over a 20-month contract. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in road and bridge construction, possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, and be familiar with GCC contract documentation. The Resident Engineer reports to the Contracts Engineer and is required to manage the WSP Construction Management Services team for a contract period of 20 months.
The Resident Engineer’s responsibility is to co‑ordinate, monitor, control and report on all construction and construction‑related activities to achieve the project scope, budget, schedule, quality, environmental and safety objectives in accordance with the project contract document, regulatory and statutory requirements.
