A world-leading leisure sports booking platform, operating across more than 100 destinations worldwide, is redefining how golfers connect with courses, clubs, and experiences through innovative technology. They are seeking a strategic and service-driven full-time, remote Reservations Manager to lead their booking operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
As Reservations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of their customer journey, overseeing all aspects of tee time bookings, partner coordination, and service excellence. You’ll optimise booking workflows, and ensure their platform delivers frictionless, real-time access to the best golf experiences worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely, accurate, and customer-focused booking operations.
- Leverage travel industry expertise to streamline booking processes, manage complex itineraries, and anticipate customer needs.
- Monitor and optimise booking performance metrics, including conversion rates, response times, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage simple and complex bookings, from single-course reservations to multi-day golf and hotel packages.
- Build strong relationships with golf course and hotel partners, ensuring alignment on availability, pricing, and service standards.
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to enhance booking features, troubleshoot issues, and implement user feedback.
- Handle escalations and VIP bookings with discretion, professionalism, and a solutions-first mindset.
- Create bespoke golf and accommodation packages, balancing client preferences, course access, and budget constraints.
- Contact hotel partners to onboard them into packages and ensure seamless integration with our booking platform.
- Convert enquiries into reservations through confident, knowledgeable, and tenacious customer engagement.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events, championing our brand and building strategic relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience in reservations, hospitality, or customer operations, with a strong background in the travel and tourism industry.
- Demonstrated ability to build tailored itineraries and package solutions for discerning clients.
- Tenacity, confidence, and commercial acumen to deliver creative solutions.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Tech-savvy mindset with experience using booking platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and calm under pressure.
- A love for leisure sports is a plus, but not essential.
- This is a full-time (40 hours a week), remote independent contract position, working EU, UK, or UAE time zones.
- There would be an element of international travel to conferences and trade shows.
