Job summary

A fast-growing digital brand platform is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead their offshore finance function. The successful candidate will oversee daily financial operations across global entities, manage accounting teams, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This role requires over 5 years of accounting experience in dynamic environments. This position is based remotely in South Africa, offering a competitive salary range of R420,000 – R650,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience in multi-entity or global environments.
• Experience managing small finance or transactional teams.
• Organised, detail-oriented, proactive in driving process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore accounting function overseeing daily financial operations.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Junior Accountants / Finance Assistants.
• Oversee AP, AR, bank reconciliations, expense processing, and GL activity.

Skills

Accounting qualification preferred (SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA, or equivalent)

5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, including GL and reconciliations

Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, or US GAAP

Proficient in Excel and ERP systems

Excellent communication skills across regions and time zones
