With a strong focus on accessibility and customer convenience they have established a network of over 35 branches and kiosks strategically located across the country. Their mission is to ensure that individuals can easily access the financial support they need making them a trusted and reliable partner within the local community.

Role Overview

The CEO would be responsible for leading and overseeing the overall strategic direction, financial performance and operational excellence of the company. The CEO will ensure the successful execution of the company’s vision and mission in the mobile money industry driving financial inclusion, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance and sustainable growth. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in financial services, fintech, mobile payments and digital transformation and a hands‑on approach.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5‑8 years of executive leadership experience in fintech, banking, telecommunications or mobile financial services.
  • Proven track record of leading a high‑growth business scaling mobile money operations and driving digital financial inclusion.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, AML/KYC requirements and risk management principles.
  • Experience in strategic partnerships, investor relations and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent leadership communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports, market trends and business performance metrics.

  • Implement robust risk management policies and compliance frameworks to mitigate financial and operational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations including AML and KYC requirements.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of innovative mobile money services that improve accessibility, affordability and usability.
  • Drive operational efficiency and digital transformation to enhance customer experience and business scalability.
  • Lead product development initiatives to introduce new payment solutions, remittances, merchant services and other fintech innovations.
  • Ensure cybersecurity measures and data protection policies are in place to safeguard customer information and transactions.
  • Build and lead a high‑performing executive team fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to senior management and employees to enhance productivity and engagement.
