Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a results-oriented commercial leasing professional to source tenants, negotiate lease agreements, and manage relationships within the property sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial leasing, strong negotiation skills, and excellent communication abilities. This role requires market knowledge and independent working capability, with substantial responsibilities including tenant sourcing and marketing implementation. A valid driver's license is mandatory as travel is involved.

Job description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Source new tenants through networking, cold calling, broker engagement and advertising.
  • Negotiate and conclude lease agreements aligned to rental targets and tenant mix strategies.
  • Implement marketing campaigns to promote vacancies and development opportunities.
  • Conduct market research (competitor analysis, trends, rentals, supply / demand).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, tenants and property professionals.
  • Manage leasing administration, including FICA, documentation, proposals and MDA updates.
  • Prepare weekly leasing reports and assist with vacancy forecasts and budgets.
  • Provide regular feedback and reporting to senior management.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in commercial leasing, property management or related real estate field.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deals and meet targets.
  • Market knowledge of the commercial property sector.
  • Experience with MDA or similar property management systems (advantageous).
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (role is largely on-the-road).
  • Willing to travel to surrounding provinces when necessary.
