WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)

As a Refrigeration Technician, your expertise will drive top-tier service delivery.abspath. Expect to:

• Diagnose equipment and control systems mechanically, electrically and electronically.
• Maintain / service equipment.
• Repair equipment.
• Handle confidential and non-routine information.
• Test and troubleshoot a variety of items dependant on specific trade expertise to assess functionality and recommend repair or replacement.
• Liaise with clients regarding requirements, quality and completion of work.
• Complete technical service records.
• Transfer and develop skills of junior staff.
• Administer accurate time sheets, vehicle records, etc.
• Communicate with SFI helpdesk to provide accurate feedback.
• Contribute actively to the improvement 침업의 procedures, policies and productivity.
• Conduct electrical and/or electronic tests on equipment and control systems.
• Strip equipment (if required) to determine faults.
• Be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Perform other related duties to ensure the efficient operation of the work unit.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience:

• 3–5 years refrigeration industry experience after obtaining your Refrigeration Trade Qualification.
• Commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience and exposure to:
• Freezer room / cold rooms package units.
• Ice machines and chilled water systems.
• Display chillers entweder.
• Various split‑unit installations.
• Adherence to SLA and contractual terms of service.
• Experience in staff supervision.
• Ability to work independently.

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Commercial Refrigeration Trade Certificate.
• Safe Handling Practitioner Certificate.
• Valid driver's license (essential for site visits).
