This is a remote position.

Office & Recruitment Coordinator (Self-Employed Contractor)

An excellent opportunity for a super-organised and highly proactive individual to join a growing recruitment business in a vital Office & Recruitment Coordinator role. This fully remote self-employed contractor position, that is ideal for someone based in South Africa with excellent communication skills and an exceptional eye for detail, looking to support a busy UK-based team with a wide variety of admin, recruitment, and coordination tasks.

Location : Remote – must be based in South Africa, working UK hours

Salary : $750 – $1,100 USD per month dependent on experience (approx. R15,000 – R20,000 ZAR), paid on a self-employed contractor basis

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in an administrative, office support, or recruitment coordination role
  • Highly organised with incredible attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with high volumes of admin work
  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software tools (CRM, job boards, etc.)
  • Confident telephone manner – able to act as a professional gatekeeper on inbound calls
  • Proactive approach with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a very fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
  • Manage job advertising across company website and external job boards
  • Amend adverts on both the company website and external job boards
  • Refresh job postings to maximise visibility
  • Handle CV send-outs and live job reporting
  • Track interviews against job reporting metrics
  • Draft and refine candidate pitches
  • Manage & reject advert responses and update candidate records as required in the CRM
  • Conduct searches on spreadsheets and our recruitment CRM system
  • Provide general administrative support across the business
  • Coordinate interviews for clients
  • Answer inbound phone calls and act as a gatekeeper
  • Act as admin & PA support to the two directors
